Tooting Labour is delighted to announce that Tooting Councillor and qualified London Tourist Guide, Rex Osborn, is leading a Tooting History Walk on Saturday 18th November.

Assembly point will be at Tooting Broadway tube station, quarter to 2pm for a 2pm departure.

The Tooting tour will look at why Tooting is where it is, how it gets its name, what is special abour Tooting, and who are the local characters who have put Tooting on the map.

The tour will finish at St Nicholas' church at 4pm, and then people will walk to The Antelope for refreshment.
Participants are advised to dress for the weather and to ensure their footwear is suitable for churchyards and cobblestones.

The event is a fundraiser, for Tooting Labour Party and the cost is a minimum of £20 but do feel fine to pay more in the form of a donation.
